Recently, the Hebei Metallurgical Society organized industry experts to conduct an appraisal and evaluation in the form of a meeting for two scientific and technological achievement projects developed by our company, namely "Integrated Innovation and Industrial Application of Key Technologies for Steel Used in High-quality Automotive Gear and Shaft Parts" and "Integration of Rolling Technologies for Improving the Internal and Surface Quality of High-quality Medium and High Carbon Alloy Steels". After being appraised and evaluated by experts from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Central Iron and Steel Research Institute, Northeastern University, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Hebei University of Science and Technology, etc., the two scientific and technological achievements have reached the international advanced level.
Through the development of precise control technology for narrow composition, cleanliness and anti-blocking control technology, harmless control technology for surface defects, and special modification technology for wire rods, the "Integrated Innovation and Industrial Application of Key Technologies for Steel Used in High-quality Automotive Gear and Shaft Parts" has achieved the homogenization, cleanliness, and fine-grainization of the materials. It has significantly improved the strength-ductility performance, drawing performance, and cold-heading performance of the materials, and has been highly recognized by downstream automotive customers.
The "Integration of Rolling Technologies for Improving the Internal and Surface Quality of High-quality Medium and High Carbon Alloy Steels" has developed the high-temperature diffusion homogenization control technology and post-rolling controlled cooling technology, which have effectively improved the network carbide. It has also developed the decarburization prevention technology for high-carbon steel and the flexible control technology for mill scale, achieving stable control of the mechanical properties of the wire rods, easy pickling of the surface mill scale, and pickling-free mechanical descaling.
